Chapter 4 : Escape
He charged in, ignoring all warnings. The hissing kept reciting in his head. Through the door was a massive hole that possessed many gold lanterns that lead to a thick, silver door that looked like it was made from from metal. He had two options, stay here and suffer, or escape and live life. ” Go before you meet your end,” hissed a voice out of nowhere. Without hesitation, Monty zoomed into the hole, looked at the lights then stepped out of the nightmare.
Soon, he found himself on the road leading to his house. Monty looked around. The shop was gone, as well as Gingerbread. A tear descended from his eye. Devastated, he marched back home, head down. The memories kept flooding back, he thought this was his best friend. On the pathway, there was a blob that turned into a body that turned into a ginger cat. Gingerbread. He meowed his meow then ran to Monty and rubbed his head against his leg like he had done at the start of their friendship. Happy, Monty jumped and down. Life was good now.
