To the Everly castle

In the morning, they started bright and early on a cold winters day. Miniature snowflakes surround them slowly drifting down onto their cold cute noses, twitching each time a snowflake lands. “How much longer this is tiring you know?!” Hopkin wondered miserably. “Not much longer now Hopkin but stop acting like you’re the only one having to walk.” Peskin said, annoyed. Mo started crying loudly as the cold kicked in. Hopkin and Peskin thought what would their Mum or Dad do when Mo was crying? Mo hardly ever cried since it was so peaceful back at home so there really was no reason to.

Suddenly, they heard something get closer, the snow crunching louder and louder. Worried, they started running trying to make no sound whatsoever. Few hours later, they realised that it was some other people from their burrow going to The ancient burrows. Hopkin and Peskin thought of telling them what they found at the Deadly Mountains, but decided it was best to keep it a secret. Eventually, the people who were with them had gone to the Ancient burrows and left them with a bit of leftover food they had eaten the night before. Hopkin exclaimed “Why can’t we go to the Ancient burrows then food would never be a problem on this long journey!” “It’s just not fair!” Peskin replies “We are going to Everly Castle and I’m not changing my mind mum said that is the second best place to go if we can’t go to the Ancient burrows!” They argue for hours on end they finish up getting lost in some woods that weren’t on the map their mother gave them. Finally, they finished arguing not realising they was completely lost and had no idea where they were…
