On My Way Home

On my way home

I met a magician called Charmer.

He tipped his jet-black top hat the red ribbon sparkling

His amber eyes met mine locking,

He turned his mouth into a smirk that could fit the sun

He swiftly spun around and waved his wand as he vanished like a ghost.

I met a girl that was snake charmer called Snow.

Her swift snake that had skin of blue and white wrapped around her neck

Her ocean blue eyes glistened in the moon light,

As she slowly looked up at me shyly turning away

And her snow white hair lifted up slowly as the whistling wind carried it up,

As her cheeks turned a primrose pink on her pale skin.

I met a set of mime twins called Quiet and Loud.

One sad and one like a kid at a circus,

They dressed in clown costumes the red one for loud

And the purple for quiet,

They are extremely tall and lanky,

They unusually moved and mimed all night long,

The both boys had paper white faces the only difference Sad had tears.

I met a lady called Fire.

She was a master and the ring of fire,

Her skin sizzled and cracked as the scorching heat radiated off of her,

Her bright as the sun ginger hair spiked up like Medusa

Her emerald green orbs glowed into mine burning my soul.

I met a clown called Pogo.

He loved to sing and dance with his record player,

The song plays slowly and rhythmically,

It was like he was in his own little warping world.

I met a girl called Bug.

She was as slow as a slug,

And could fit right into a massive mug,

And everyone just wanted to give her a big hug,

He dances and twirls,

Her silver wings fluttering in the wind carrying her away.

On my way home I met myself.

I stopped and starred at myself in the gleaming mirror,

But I looked different,

This was not me, I was a puppet master,

The ring leader of everyone here,

I had a jet-black and rose red suit on,

Standing tall and proud I said “ready to go home?”
