Olympicorn Spotted! By Amelia

Breaking News!

Yesterday morning, Harrison Raye (Olympic medalist 2020), saw a baby Olympicorn stuck, alone in the Tokyo national stadium.

Usually the unicorns flee the stadium when games begin but the one spotted has been said to have broken its 2 left feet meaning galloping is impossible. When Harrison first saw the unicorn he was about to go into the stadium for his first race. He told the BBC that it was sat in the corner furthest from the entrance with a pile of batons nearby. They have set off an emergency crew to help and rescue the unicornling.

When the National Speech of Events and Emergencys team came to interview Harrison he said he was shocked and didn’t believe in unicorns. He added that, “ I felt sorry for the poor thing, I didn’t think it would survive.”

The security guards and manager have decided to postpone the races for the time being and the unicorn is currently in the Saint Tokyoyo vets. Any sightings of an Olympicorn should be reported to the vets so they can help the species not go extinct. Unicorniologist Dr Morrelò has explained the reason of the broken left feet and has reassured the community it is nothing to worry about because it is common in athletic – based unicorns.
