Part 3 of Plan amethyst
Suddenly, they heard a noise. “Did you say that Lily?” Snapped Bob, looking serious. “N-n-n -no!” said Lily back in a very small voice.
In a blink of an eye, they dived behind the table and were all safe, for the moment. “They’re Goliath rats, filthy beasts just as I expected.”said Jock. Then they heard voices and this was what they said: “They have to be in here somewhere boss.”said a rat. “I know stupid, I can smell’em!” said the boss. Just then Lily tripped over an old shoe and caught the rats attention at once and they swivelled towards them. “You can bounce but you can’t hide!” sneered the rat. Jock turned around and realised that they were getting closer to the wall every second. “Lily” Jock hissed. “We’re getting closer to the corner every second, we need to change direction.”. But it was too late 😯. The Goliath rats had trapped them.
After they had been wrapped in poisonous vines, (which got tighter every time you struggled), they were to be dragged up a tall mountain.
When they were halfway up, Bob started complaining about the heat. “I know it’s hot,” said Jock, sweating even more, “the suns out.”.
Once or twice they heard a fox or another rabbit and even saw five baby robins!
Next morning, (after a very tiring march up the mountain) they were finally there. “Wow!” said Bob looking at the enormous castle in front of them. It had towering mahogany doors, gigantic windows, mean turrets and the roof as sharp as a lion’s tooth.
