a walk in Brandon
I walked through the forest and found a flint lying on the floor discarded andalone.
I found my grey twin in the lake staring back at me with blank eyes.
The ducks quack to me as I walk round the pond.
I found a crisp packet loitering in a tree, too scared to walk out of it.
A pigeon flies past me like a bullet.
I found a field of rainbow and lay in them and then I got some to take home.
Picking up the flint I felt the sharp edge and realised how useful it could be.
I took it and smelt its sweet fragrance and looked at its vibrant colours.
I found the clouds in the pond.
