The Water Dragon

From its fetid cave, the menacing water dragon emerged, baring its monstrous blood covered fangs.

Its dagger like talons grazed the ground like nails scratching a chalkboard.

The scorching sun beats down on the beasts shimmering, shield-like glass scales.

Penetrating diamond eyes scrutinised the land scanning for prey.

Horns like shards of ice petruded from its mighty head.

Reering on its hind legs, spreading its great iridescent wings like a kite, they caught the airs up-lift.

Leaving a gust of blazing blue flames like ribbons behind, it evaporated, leaving the village in peace.
