The Dark Night
The Dark Night
The dragons
Skin felt like bubble wrap
Failing to pop.
The mustard yellow teeth
Scratched against each other
As his mouth clenched.
His tongue
Was as scratchy as
Sandpaper scratching against walls.
The dragons scales
Were as bumpy as a rocky road
In an old town.
The spine
Was like it was dancing up and down
With sharpe points.
His leathery wings
Beated through the village
In the pitch black.
The girl was frozen in fear
As a silent scream went off
Everything went dark.
