The Rich Dragon
The Rich Dragon
The Dragon sees diamonds,
As shiny as a mirror.
Its scales are bumpy,
Like an old rocky road.
His talons grip onto the diamonds,
As sticky as a grapple hook.
The Dragons red eyes,
Glowing in the moonlight.
His wings start to flap,
As he escapes with the jewelry
Before he gets caught.
The tail swaying side to side,
As it flies.
The spiky jaw,
As sharp as a dagger.
Its teeth holding a diamond,
As tight as a rope.
The slimy tongue,
Pauses in the mouth.
The smooth spine,
Curls up.
Its smooth skin stays in place,
As grey as a 1600s photo.
Watch out for your jewelry,
It will be gone at sunrise.
