A wave of disappointment

A wave of disappointment

My disappointment is made from,

a thousand pieces of crystal,

shattered into miniscule pieces,

stardust sprinkled into a black hole,

my eyes watering,

flooding the world with my soul’s sadness.

It can be found in,

the deepest part of my mind,

invading my thoughts and dreams,

Sitting on the old brick wall,

facing the gloomy water,

shrouded in loneliness.

It can breath in the fumes of,

the cries of the earth,

for failed projects and rejected requests,

and much wanted gifts that parents cannot afford.

If it escaped my mind,

and collided with the city streets,

it would raid even the happiest minds,

and force them to experience,

a wave of disappointment
