Finally they were ready to leave.

That evening, after dinner they had been given news by a robin. Bad news. He said that the Gorm was only a few miles away, up near Catfish lake. The ancient Oak warren knew they would not survive. The warren had been built centuries ago. The Chieftain, who owns the warren, decided to stay and fight the Gorm; the people weren’t quite sure if they should stay. After all, the Chieftain did have a magic dagger that could cut through anything except iron whilst the other rabbits did not. 

So there were three young rabbits who were the children of the chieftain. The oldest was Pod, the second was Pad, and the youngest was Pops. They disagreed with their father and disliked him although their father protected them.

The young siblings decided to go to IceBerg Mount, they knew they would be safe because if Gorm make contact with the snow they will rust and make it impossible to move. But they needed a map and then Pod remembered that his mother gave him a top secret map with all secret ways to get to the mountains. They could not risk going the main path it was heavily guarded with Gorm scouts. 

Desperately, Pod sprug on to the map like it was a pot of gold.The gang of rabbits ran off to the mountains but first they had to cross Goblin’s Bridge. Pad  hates that bridge he would do anything not to cross it but now he would do anything to cross it. He had to get to the market. There was no way the Gorm would see them or hear them with all the noise and movement.

Suddenly the trio hears screams.”Gorm Gorm!!” someone shouts. They ran into an Oak Tree Wood hoping to find an abandoned shelter or an old dug out burrow. Sadly, no abandoned shelter and no old dug out burrow. Hastily, they collected some sticks and leaned them against an old oak tree to create a lean-to hut.

That evening, as the sun set the gang of rabbits went out looking for some food for dinner. Pod found some wild berries, Pad discovered some dandelions and Pops cheekily stole some bread to Pops it was borrowing. But they were happy they had food. Pod, after finishing his dinner, opened the wooden door checking if they weren’t being watched by the Gorm.

As Pops went back to his wood bed. Suddenly, he gets visions of his dad “it’s your fault yours I am dead all because of you!” Then visions of the Gorm, “we’re coming for you, we’re going to kill you.” Then Pod says to himself will we get to the mountains alive.
