Adventure 1
Finally, they were ready to leave.
That afternoon, a note had arrived with Penelope the kind fox, it said that the Gorm were only a few miles away from Sunset warren. No one would be safe. The warren’s walls were so frail because they were built during a bad storm. The walls were unsteady and sandy. Its rooms would never survive an attack from the Gorm.
So it was that the three little rabbits, Peter, Pearl and Pain left home. Their journey to safety would take at least a week but first they would have to cross Green Hill woods, then through the unknown Spider Caves until they reach The Canopy. Even the Gorm could not enter that mighty forest, the Gorm could not get through the magical barrier that was around the outside of the tree line. Warm hearted animals are allowed in while animals with cold hearts do not dare to enter, they get thrown back. Once the rabbits reached their destination, they would be safe. Other rabbits from their warren had chosen to travel elsewhere but Peter’s mother had given them an ancient map that showed the old paths, mostly hidden from unwanted eyes and glances. Too old to travel, she had stayed behind, hiding in the woods.
Clutching the ancient map, the little band of brave rabbits entered the first creepy location – Green Hill. They were in the forest, wending their way towards what they hoped would mean safety. Tall trees towered overhead as they followed the ancient rabbit pathways because if they didn’t take the unusual pathway they could have got seen by the Gorm. Cautiously, Paint took the lead, tugging his siblings along close. Wherever he looked, he imagined the evil eyes of the Gorm.
