At twilight, the two of the three kittens woke up. They heard a loud scratch on the boulder door. Pich looked through the tiniest of holes to see that it was the Blue Jay carrier to tell them that the Gorm were still following them. The three of them, not including Pier, looked horrified.They got their belongings and then  they looked at the ancient map and left for Green Wood Lake.They nearly forgot Pier was still sleeping but Pin quickly ran to get him.

As they slowly and miserably walked, they could hear the wind whistling in the mountain site. There was an avalanche the night before that luckily didn’t reach them, which made it hard not to fall a million times. Rocks sat everywhere and they were burning hot. The weather was as hot as lightning.

Several hours later, they were finally there at Green Wood Lake. All of a sudden, they heard a heron’s harsh call. Overhead, they could hear the birds singing a beautiful song.They laid down in the juniper grass. A couple of minutes later they saw a ripped old piece of crunched up paper. It said, if you read this then you are in BIG danger! You will meet two big men Wyatt and Orme. They will hurt you if you don’t do what they want.So DON’T disobey them. They put the letter on the floor where they found it. That’s when they saw, standing there in front of them, were the two giant men Wyatt and Orme.”Why are you three here?” one of the two said. Luckily for the rabbits, they were let go since they were so little.

Pin and Pier nudged Pich, “The Gorm, they`re at the lake’s edge.” Pin said, scared. Pich stared intensely. The trio then saw the Gorm’s rusted red eyes. But around them they saw beautiful Bells of Ireland to distract them, they tried to pick them. All of a sudden, they heard a heron’s harsh call. And overhead, they could hear the birds singing a beautiful song. Suddenly, they heard metal clanking of more Gorm behind them and knew they had to press on, despite the Gorm that lay ahead. 

Pich saw a small gap in between two trees that they could sneak through. She knew it would be a difficult task but they could do it. First they’d have to hide behind many trees. Pich then tugged on Pins arm he was holding pier. As she pointed to the breach and pulled him along.

They reached the gap safely and then quietly danced for joy at their win. As they started to sit down, they heard a loud CAWW. They hid as fast as they possibly could, thinking it was the Gorms crow but they were mistaken for a normal crow and  got out of their hiding spot. They had been caught…
