Liz was sitting inside the cozy cottage warming her hands up. Outside the snow falls from the sky landing down on the cottage roof as the birds tweet happily as they relax. Inside the snug fire kept everything in the house warm as the kettle boiled waiting to make a hot chocolate. Liz really liked her new place here cozy,warm,and light hearted.The midnight sky was as dark as dark chocolate, stars as bright as a new light bulb glowing in a gloomy room.The city as beautiful as New York City at christmas eve or even christmas day.Liz calmly read her favorite book by the fire after having a nice warm shower. The snow fell silently as a feeling of contentment filled her once cold heart. 

Liz sat doing her homework nicely at her desk,until she heard a big BANG. Liz wondered what made that sound but she decided to leave it but moments later Liz heard it again BANG!!! This time, she went to see what it was and she couldn’t believe her eyes. HE WAS GONE. The secret left outside because the door was wide open and he got out.Liz quickly ran upstairs getting her shoes on and then whizzed out the door finding the secret abandoned in a deep dark forest in the middle of nowhere with food in his mouth. It looked like he unlocked the door somehow and went to hunt to find food. Was he really this hungry?Liz got the big leash on him and was walking him home secretly so no one could see him or shoot him. As soon as they got back to the house, Liz put him back in the basement room with lots of food. Suddenly Liz smelt something unusual like she had never smelt before. It was a smoky smell, a really dark smoky smell. Suddenly, she heard something coming from outside. She ran quickly to her room and looked out her window. She couldn’t believe what she saw; it was people looking at the secret’s footprints. They were huge and Liz forgot that it snowed here and he left very big pawprints. Tubby might be able to get out again, but how did he get out of the basement room? For a minute Liz was really confused. Normally, he prefers to be outside at night when it’s quiet and empty, but today he escaped in the day.

One night, Liz and Tubby were down in the creaky,old basement where Tubby sleeps until Liz heard a knock at the door. BANG BANG BANG went the door. Liz  got up to go and see what it was and Liz opened the door and standing there was a policeman saying “Hello little girl.” Liz  stared at him confused so Liz said “ummm hi.” They both just stared and then the policeman said “we have seen big footprints in the snow and the footprints have led all the way back to this house. Do you know anything about this?” “No” Liz  said “well why are there footprints at your doorstep” he practically said “Maybe they are yours” Liz said “Do you think my feet or even PAWS are that big”he said terrifyingly! “No sir” LIz said back “I must take a look in your house”the policeman says “ummmm ok” Liz said.The policeman looked all around the house but then he found the basement!!!! “Ummm you don’t want to go in there”Liz says “well i’m going in” he said  “NOOOOOOOO” Liz says “aha a lion you’re coming with me to animal services”the policeman said “NOOO he got out he didn’t mean to”then the police officer took tubby away and put him in a cage and then TUBBY WAS GONE Mrs oak finds out and had a chat with the officer but until then tubby had to go.Liz ran up to her room as sad as anything but then she realized that  she could go save him Liz ran after the car but the officer didn’t notice her she found Tubby and saved him from the officer and ran him back home “LIZ Mrs Oak says “why have you brought him back” “Liz had to” she says but then the officer showed up and Mrs Oak had a chat and Liz  could KEEP HIM she looked so happy she was dancing and then the officer says “have a nice day and he was gone.
