Room To Room
Go and open the black door,
maybe you will find a crow sitting on a flat car tyre
while it is midnight in the dark room
with a cloak that blends in with the coal.
Go and open the shiny, pink door
maybe you will find a stick of candy floss waiting to be eaten
while a fluffy flamingo is waiting to be fed a slice of ham.
Go and open the brown door,
maybe you will find conkers waiting to be collected
while a violin is playing a song
with cookies sat glaring at you.
Go and open the grey door,
maybe you will find pebbles waiting to be admired
while an elephant stands on it and crushes it before you even glance at it.
Go and open the ocean blue door,
maybe you will find Neptune waiting to be amazed at
while the butterfly flutters on your nose tickling it.
Go and open the minty green door,
maybe you will find emerald looking leaves
while a frog leaps around
with lettuce hanging out of its mouth.
