the mysterious rooms
In the room of stars,
I shielded my eyes like I was approaching fire.
In the room of flowers,
I found a statue of roses.
In the room of cheese,
I found the walls were especially cheesy.
In the room of no gravity,
I floated towards the roof, as a rocket would.
In the room of glue,
I became a sticky mess.
In the room of chrome,
I waded through liquid steel.
In the room of fire,
The glue protected me.
In the room of music,
I held my ears as tight as a hawk’s grip.
In the room of arms,
I saw bones.
In the room of skulls,
I smelt rotting meat.
In the room of whispers,
I was told to jump,as I plummeted the whispers laughed.
