The return from home
The next day it flooded with rain. Rain dropped and all the villages which were made out of mud were shattered into small pieces of mud. The rain filled everywhere such as the valleys, the trails of the dirt and the streets. Mr Stevens sat in the living room and was staring at the window for half an hour sighing about the awful weather.
Louis could wait no longer until Mr Stevens mumbled away. If Louis left it any longer he would’ve been singing poems and praying. Time was flashing by. He had to see if the diamond had been taken.
Outside, the rain splashed onto Louis. It was never stopping as he was drowning. Suddenly, he went to the valley, lurching across the hills. But it responded with trails of flood.
He paused at Mr Smith’s house and said have you seen Mr stevens. Mr Smith noticed everything that happened in the valley. Louis called Mr Smith an irritable old man and didn’t have the time to be rude to him.
Mr Smith was in Louis’s living room, watching what was wrong “Don’t even think about coming ‘ere, eating on my new carpet,” he said in shock about the brand new carpet being dirty.
