Letter to mum

Dear mum,

Thank you for the apple you gave me on the train I made sure to save it for later. After what seemed like years, we got off the train at Humbridge. People here move around by horse and walking and it’s full of fields there are one or tow shops there too.

some people ordered us in a line, when I got picked I said goodbye to my friends and left the station. The place I’m living in is called Humbride, and the person taking care of me is called Mr paperwig and he owns a little farm near the school I now go to.

The home I live in is quite nice and I have a little room in the attic, outside there is a pig pen with tow cows inside too, and a few chickens in the back yard.First thing in the mornin, he makes me feed the pigs I think he let me do it because he noticed how much I love pigs.

At school I try hard in maths and writing, not that I don’t try hard in all subjects.I’ve made a few friends and they play games with me when they can.

We have lunch, mine is usually beetroot and apples and normally so does everyone else. They place has small houses and cobble stone paths    surprisingly there’s no cars here for miles. Also I was feeling hungers in the morning so I ate the apple you gave me a few days ago.

Anyway I have other jobs to do like doing the dishes and cleaning the pigs, this takes a long time so I do it in the evening.
