Go and open the door…
Go and open the door…
Go and open the Emerald door,
maybe you’ll feel the gentle
breeze of luck,
Swirling around you,
As clovers bloom through
Bright,wet grass.
Go and open the Teal door,
maybe you’ll hear the
Whimpers of children,
The light drops of rain,
Or the openings of creaky umbrellas.
Go and open the Bronze door,
maybe you’ll hear the cling of shiny coins,
The thud of heavy ropes,
Or the flutter of Colias butterflies.
Go and open the Midnight door,
maybe you’ll see the
blast of lightning,
The shadows of coffins,
Or the looks of skulls covered in blood.
Go and open the Garnet door,
maybe you’ll hear the dribble of blood,
The shimmer of rubies,
Or the burning flicker of fire.
Go and open the Iris door,
maybe you’ll see the
Leak of bright paint,
The spring of flowers,
Or the stroke of your pen as you
correct a mistake.
