Ash’s mystery

Ash had always been curious about the Emporium on Brick road but her mother never let her enter the building because she thought it would lead to trouble. One rainy evening, something was different about the Emporium. The door was open. The gap was small enough for a cat to run through. Sneakily, she entered the Emporium without making a sound…

 

In every direction it was filled to the brim with wonders and wishes. She walked a little closer and saw a knocked down bookshelf lying down as if it was sleeping. As she walked around, she saw a cage with dancing foxes with one fennec fox in the middle. She wandered a little more and saw a little wooden sculpture of the town.When she looked back…the book shelf…was gone.

Running away scared she went to the exit. The doors shut, locking themselves as if the building was alive and as she looked around she saw the room extend about 8 meters. On the extended walls she saw a strange photo. She picked up the golden pyramid photo. It was a photo of a timer set to 24 hours. When she went to the spot of the bookshelf, the bookshelf had reappeared! She jumped in surprise but what interested Ash the most was the old black dusty book lying on the floor. As Ash picked up the book she heard an unfamiliar voice behind her. 

 

“I see you found my black book of mysteries” said a voice faintly. Ash gasped,closed the book and looked at the owner with the book behind her. He was an old man with dark glowing eyes,On his shoulder sat a parrot staring deeply into her eyes and…
