The Nothing Emporium
Teggs is an adventurous 10 year old boy. He likes everything and anything ( but mayo.) This is his story about The Nothing Emporium. One Christmas Eve, he was walking down Helix street, a street he was told by his family never to go past. Guess what he did, he went past and got pulled into this place. From what he saw it read…The Nowhere Emporium.
Inside this place Teggs saw a patch of twilight reversal bonsai trees that grow a millimeter bigger each time. A miniature village with real, miniature people, shopping, playing and working. A display of the finest hand made antiques, some clocks, chairs and paintings. A stuffed jar of twelve toffees, their smell drifting through the wind. A rack of magic small sequins, hanging over a completely different shade of paint. Yellow special spiders, green candy grass and remote control cars grunting. Teggs was most interested in a book called ‘The Book of Life’. He opened it and the words scrambled. It told the story of life. Before he got to read anything, a figure came.
‘’ Back to me now.’’ a short green man about 2ft1”. He has yellow eyes and baby jaguar by his side. ‘’Your sincerely, Mr. Crummy.’’ he said.
‘’Here you go’’ said Teggs politely.
