Chapter 2
“I am Cilia well Cilia Pearl, and I own this shop have you seen anything like it is beautiful! But you should not be in here its not Christmas yet.” she said walking closer to Mollie, “I’m Mollie and its nice to meet you, I know that but I couldn’t help it nobody has noticed it before so I had to take a look!” Said Mollie wiping the dust off of her hand. “Listen here, I will let you off from being here and ill let you touch anything but not that book! Said Cilia putting her finger up to Mollies nose and giving it a slight tap.
A second later, Cilia was gone, her wavy hair swung as she spun in a circle and disappeared. Mollie breathed out a long held breath, and the redness from her face slowly disappeared. She was meant to not touch the book, but their was something about it that made it unbearable not to take a peak inside. “Maybe just one page that’s it he wont mind well I hope.” Mollie said whispering to herself.
She opened it and the book and it gave her a warm curious welcome by saying “Chapter 1 Hello, are you meant to be here. Mollies face warmed up and in a few seconds her face filled up with guilt. Each page was full with bright Christmas colours and a Christmas tree on the page of a new paragraph, it was odd it was not how she expected. She thought it would be mean and dark but it was colourful and jolly “So why did Cilia say I must not open it” said Mollie confused.
Mollie had lost herself, and without thinking there was a pen in her hand and she started to draw. Magic colours appeared on the page as she watched the pen dance. A magical door opening, gave her deep shivers. She had touched the book and now she had drawn in it! She lost control her hand was moving as fast the fastest runner ever, making it impossible for her to stop. She was so excited she was so proud she says she’s not good at art but today was different She loved it she had made her own magical drawing but then her face turned into a forced smile, as she realized what she had done.
“This way follow me” said the Chinchilla. Mollie slammed the book shut as quickly as possible. “Oh well I might as well follow it maybe its good luck” Said Mollie ignoring her brain. Mollie followed the Chinchilla watching it jump wall to wall holding a pile of hay and grass. The Chinchilla led Mollie to a door. But it was not any door it was different. It was amazing a beautiful door all for her. It had jungle pictures and she loves the jungle.
She opened the door and stepped in but not into a room, she stepped into a jungle! She was used to this stuff but this is a place was somewhere nobody had seen. The sound of birds flying through the trees, and the animals trapping her with their tails, made her feel like she was somewhere she could trust. Watching the apples swing from up above made her feel like at home. A place where she could feel safe.
