Aurora and Mess Palacio
“Hello, my name is Mess Palacio,” she spoke glancing at Aurora. She backed up from the book little by little. “Since you are the only person here, do you like my shop?” Aurora had no clue what was going on so she sarcastically nodded. Messa Palacio walked up to the book and mentioned “See this is my Book of Drama. You can do anything you like here, BUT NEVER TOUCH OR EVEN BREATHE ON THE BOOK!”
In a blink of an eye, Messa used her cape to swiftly get out of the place. Aurora was finally relieved after she went. She flicked through the book to find different adventures. As she scanned through the book a five second video flashes in her face: towns, villages,sky-sracpers, buildings, hills, crystal caves, sea cruises, heavenly areas and much more. In each page there would always be a story behind it.
Next thing she knew, Aurora had a pencil in her hand. She started to draw a creepy, haunted school that she really wanted to go to. She drew the stains all around, missing and broken pieces of flooring and smashed windows.
“Follow me,” called out a mysterious snake, and as soon as she saw the scaly snake she quickly ran with no hesitation. She unlocked the door and entered another world. It wasn’t a regular room, but it was the haunted school that she had drawn in the book! Old history books crumpled up and scattered, decomposed skeletons, their clothes still on their bodies. Writing on the chalkboard saying ‘Run’. Aurora paused for a moment, thinking about what it said on the board. She didn’t care and just carried on with her adventure.
She heard a creak coming from upstairs. She pounced, curious to see what awaited her in the darkness. She passed the cobwebs, entered the hallways and the bathroom, blood stains were on the stalls, sink, mirrors with fingerprints. She was disgusted and ran to the science room. As she entered, she saw: old used lab projects dangling on the table; rotten chemicals fizzing up in a tube; rusty lab coats hanging on for dear life; burnt patch goggles resting on the table; broken chairs relaxing on the floor and the teacher’s old lunch. “Hello?” whispered Aurora, but the only reply she got was a whiff of dust.
Minutes later, she heard a bang from the science room, as noisy as a meerkat, she went inside to peeked to see what was going on. It was at that moment, she saw it: two big bloody eyes faced her; overgrown pointy claws ready to strike at her and a hunched scaly back straightening. She raced down the stairs to get to the open portal but it wasn’t there. She didn’t know what to do. The next thing she heard was, “Don’t leave.”
