Chapter 3- The Unknown

Ebony got off the horse, to sit at the river.She put her feet in and the water was freezing, above her head, in a tree was a nest, a nest with five chicks and parents.

The father flew away to probably get food

“What a lovely place this is, it’s amazing!”

Ebony looked up at the stars and layed down to get a better view while stargazing.

“Ebony you’ve done a great job drawing this ,” she thought to herself.Eventually Ebony fell asleep,Ebony’s horse Prince laid down beside her.When Ebony woke up she felt really dehydrated so she walked towards the cottage.

When Ebony looked through the keyhole she could see many wonders like: an old fashioned kitchen;newspaper;teddies; and a dog! Ebony tried her hardest to open the door. But it wouldn’t budge so she called her horse Prince to kick the door down.

“Thank Prince!” Ebony said while stroking him. Ebony walked inside not knowing what to do.She made herself a cup of tea.Once she had finished she went back to the river.When she got to the river she noticed bubbles, but Ebony thought nothing of it .

“I wish I could stay here forever” Ebony spoked 

Ebony fell asleep again but when she woke up she felt something tugging  at her feet she looked at the thing tugging at her. But she couldn’t quite make out ,what it was.The thing was still under the water.ebony jumped up and ran away back to the cottage.She locked the door straight after going in.Ebony ran upstairs hiding in the bedroom under the covers.She could hear screeching noises this weird goo-ish sound ,but in the silence there was a voice a voice saying.

“Ebony come back, it’s safer here” the voice echoed, then faded away.
