Amy And The Secret Emporium (CHAPTER 4)
Amy continuously ran in the opposite direction of the house, until she tripped on something very sharp on the ground that was hidden by the smooth golden sand. She decided to investigate, so she grabbed a shovel from the garden and began digging. After some time, she found a door, a rather strange door. She located it and blew the extra sand away, when she discovered the floral door laying on the ground.
She grabbed the door handle and pulled as hard as she could, but no matter how hard she tried, it didn’t budge an inch. After a while, she discovered an axe lying on the ground and went to retrieve it, hitting it so hard that the birds flew away and the trees shook. She kicked and kicked, but nothing happened; it was as if something was blocking it. She took a break and returned that afternoon, and as she grasped on, it opened. She walked down the long staircase and was back in the Emporium, where Ms Charlotte was waiting. But they stood there like nothing happened.
Embarrassed, Amy silently stepped back, Ms Charlotte stared deep into Amy’s eyes and said, “There you are I was looking all over for you, did you enjoy the experience of being in your drawing?” In shock Amy stood speechless, when Ms Charlotte said, “You always need to be careful when you draw in a book. Especially a book that is from the Emporium.”
In tears Amy said, “Yes Ms Charlotte.”
“Now don’t cry my dear, just ask before you do anything in the Emporium.” Amy nodded her head and left.
Amy stepped out into the street and turned back round half way up the street to see if they were open tomorrow. But Ms Charlotte Holmes and the Emporium had disappeared into thin air, and as if it had never existed. She thought to herself maybe tomorrow, maybe tomorrow it will reappear.
