Chapter 4 – escape and return

“I see you have found my book of wonders,” explained Luciano.

John’s heart hammered in his chest. “I’m sorry for touching the book of wonders,” spoke John.

“Sorry not good enough,” Luciano warned John.

So, Luciano sent him down to the basement, locked him in for touching it, and Luciano left him locked in the cottage basement. So, he tried to escape the basement window, but he couldn’t; it was locked. John crept for a hammer under the stairs and smashed the window, when he smashed the window a big piece of glass went and chopped his leg open. He was bleeding, so he grabbed a sheet from the floor. Exhausted, he wrapped is leg up and it stopped bleeding. Miraculously he escaped out the window. He found the door to the shop and escaped the cottage. He went it to the shop, and he ran out, he went back to his house and went to sleep. That morning, he went back to the shop and found Luciano working. The door was locked, and Luciano came to the door saying, “come back tomorrow, I have work to do,” replied Luciano.

“OK!” shouted John.

He went back to his house and waited until tomorrow. He went back to the shop and opened the door and saw Luciano.
