The Mask Rainbow
The Mask Rainbow
I wore the red mask and saw,
Rudolph’s red nose glowing like a light bulb guiding Santa’s sleigh through the midnight sky,
Crimson red Christmas baubles hanging from a towering, tall Christmas tree
and smooth, scarlet red holly berries sitting on spikey holly bushes.
I wore the yellow mask and saw,
the shimmering rays of the sun shining down upon the earth,
the yellow petals of a dazzling daffodil swaying in the wind
And curvy bananas sitting in a fruit bowl like small crescent moons.
I wore the emerald, green mask and saw,
tall trees towering above the ground below,
Frogs jumping up and like kangaroos
and mint chocolate chip ice cream in a cone that looks like an upside-down unicorn horn.
I wore the pink mask and saw,
A flamingo standing tall like a giraffe on one leg,
A ballerina twirling gracefully like a carousel
and a fluffy cloud of candy floss on a spikey stick.
I wore the diamond blue mask and heard
the rocky river running down the hillside,
the wonderful waves carrying boats along the sparkling sea
and bluebirds tweeting like a choir singing Christmas Carrols.
I wore the snow-white mask and felt
A huge white cloud as fluffy as a sheep,
A snowy owls silky, smooth soft feathers
And the softness of snow-white rose petals.
