I wore the……

I wore the…..

I wore the red mask and saw,

lava lurking all around,

the rabbits running

and a rock star roaring.

I wore the red mask and saw,

lava lurking all around,

fire engines roaring

and a tingling tomato.

I wore the blue mask and saw,

the ocean orbiting around me,

whales swimming Whoosh! Whish!

and grapes grooving.

I wore the yellow mask and saw,

Gru’s minions trying to manipulate me,

banana’s preforming a show

and the sun shimmering upon me.

I put on the mask of flying fighter jets and flew like a falcon.

I put on the mask of busy bees and buzzed all around.

I put on the mask of shining supercars and ran like a cheetah pouncing on its prey.

I put on the mask of glowing gold and Shawn like the greatest treasure.

The Mysterious Masks

The Mask of Nature

I put on the moss green coloured mask of nature to see

a colourful world of herbs and plants surrounding me,

tall tress standing to attention all around

and the leaves of mint danced around in my vision of the sea green eyed mask of nature.

The Mask of Lavender

I put on the mask of lavender to reveal

a pathway into a flowering field of snowdrops, violets and lavender,

petals swaying silently like water on a calm night and

and the glint from a precious stone in the moonlight.

The Mask of Creativity

I put on the mask of creativity

as the dust covered streets turned to neon,

fireworks flaring loudly like mini bombs

and the colours of an overgrown garden in spring.

The Mask of Shadows

I put on the mask of shadows and

I was encased in thick, black fog all around me,

a spiral of darkness swirled around as I looked up

and saw the moon above.

The Mask of Mythology

I put on the mask of mythology

to appear in the snow like clouds,

a golden ball above the white temple

and the impressive throne of Zeus.

The Rainbow Masks

The Rainbow Masks

Amber Mask

I wore the amber orange mask and saw

The incased insects waiting to be freed,

The mushrooms in the forest glistening like the sun

And the fire crackling in the cold winter’s night

Gold Mask hello everyone I am writing in white

I wore the golden yellow mask and saw

Bars of gold lying in a banks vault,

Miners mining in an old digging site

And Midas reaching out at me

Emerald Mask

I wore the emerald green mask and saw

Vegetables on my plate during Christmas dinner,

The top of a forest during a volcanic eruption

And Shrek yelling at Donkey in the middle of the swamp

Diamond mask

I wore the diamond blue mask and saw

The ocean current flowing through the sea,

The dolphins jumping in and out of the water excitedly

And the ice glaciers melting because of global warming

The Rainbow Mask

Rainbow Masks

I put on the mask of fire and saw

Popping poppies

Volcanos erupting

And hearts pumping.

I put on the mask of blueberries and saw

the Pasific ocean singing peacefully

Butterflys flattering their wings and

the sky gaining more clouds.

I put on the black mask and saw

shivering shadows lurking around,

The night sky with grate clouds

And blank tv screen in the middle of the night

I put on the white mask and saw

the morning sky’s clouds,

A white polo shirt laying in a drawer

And a fresh ice cream dripping on the floor

Logan put on the mask of …

Logan put on the mask of …

I put on the mask of fiery orange and heard

the crackling of fire burning,

the bounce of a basketball

and the bubbling of the clownfish swimming through the dark water.

I put on the mask of green and saw

fat frogs eating flies over the dirty green swamp water,

long grass making shelter for small insects squealing for help

and trees towering over the swamp.

I put on the mask of bright brown and felt

the bears brown beautiful fur

up against the bark on the tree

and acorns wating to be stepped on.

I put on the mask of red and saw

the abandoned post box

surrounded by bright red poppy’s majestically shinning bright

and rose petals floating on the floor like blood dripping from noses.

I put on the mask of black and saw

the muddy car tyres

in the deep dark corner of the alley way

and my shadow disappears in the night

I put the white mask on and felt

Puffy clouds fluffing up in the sun’s beautiful rays,

like marshmallows over a fire

and sugar dropping with a plop into tea.

The Rainbow Masks

                                                 The rainbow masks

I wore the rainbow mask and saw

colourful spots like skittles

Sparkling Christmas lights creating pictures and fireworks

In the bright night sky

I wore the blue mask and saw blue bon-bons

A blue blue sky in the night

Like a block of ice

Blue like cake frosting

I wore the red mask and saw

Red like my heart red

like rose red cheeks

 Red like lip stick

Red like blood

I wore the yellow mask and saw

Yellow like the sun

Like a golden bar

Like a Christmas bobble on the Christmas tree

I wore the green mask and saw

Green like grass

Green like a light green

And feels like a carpet

Green like a tree

The Rainbow Mask

The Rainbow Mask

I wore the yellow mask and saw

Bananas burning in the shiny sun

bubbling butter melting on toast

and a sharp lemon touching your tongue

I wore the blue mask and heard

The lapping waves on the beach

The gushing of water out of a whale’s blow-hole

And the silence of a butterfly flying past.

I wore the pink mask and saw

Cherry blossom falling like a waterfall,

A cute coloured candy floss dancing around like a flamingo

And tulips swinging in the fields back and forward.

The Rainbow Mask

I wore the red mask and saw.

A field of poppies

One fire ball

And a flick of the reddest poppy

And it made the look of fire.

I wore the black mask and saw.

A black cat in the shadow

Of the night sky

And the black cat was staring

At me in the night time .

I wore the blue mask and saw

The blue sky and in the blue

I saw a blue shadow and

It was a blue mask in the sky

The birds weird blue I was cutest.

I wore the yellow mask and saw

Butter on toast and the butter

Was getting eaten

The butter and I saw a banana in the

Kitchen and the yellow mask were eating

The Banana.

I wore the orange mask and saw

A fox not just any fox a

Orange fox what is magic is shots

Out orange’s and orange sweet’s

The fox was a good fox but a mask of horror.

The Rainbow Masks

The rainbow masks

I put on the blue mask of the sea and saw

a sapphire fish swimming through the waves

as fast as a jet swirling in the blue sky

and the marine blue fishing vessel sailing off to sea.

I put on the purple mask and saw

a galaxy twirling round and round like a satellite orbit the earth

and an amethyst stone shimmering in the sunlight.

I wore the green mask and saw

an army tank thundering forward

and heard a lot of jet in a green frost.

I wore the grey mask and heard

an engine of a typhoon flying past the sea,

a F-15 coming up to the typhoon and landing on an aircraft carrier.
