The Masks of the Rainbow

The Masks of the Rainbow

I put on the mask of fire and watched on as a million flames danced along a dry grass field engulfing it completely.

I put on the mask of All Hallows Eve and felt the gooey intestines of a bright orange pumpkin, and saw the creepy costumes of the children stalking the night.

I put on the mask of the emerald and felt a beam of sunshine catch me after what felt like an eternal darkness.

I put on the mask of snow and saw a million intricately designed flakes surround me, making everything around me as white as a blank page patiently waiting for something to be written down.
