Question poem

What is loud? A helicopter just taking off, music on full volume and a tiger’s roar.

What is quiet? The sound of a bumble bee buzzing quietly, a flower swaying in the breeze and snow drops falling on my face.

What is hard? A hammer hitting a brick, rain hitting an umbrella and a mattress that is rock hard.

What is soft? A silk scarf on a winter’s day, a furry coat with a warm inside and my cat Peach’s fur.

What is hot? A warm summer day, a hot tub that is nice and relaxing and a hot, toasty campfire to roast marshmallows on.

What is cold? A mint chocolate chip ice cream, An ice sculpture and Ice cubes in a drink of freezing cold lemonade.

What is rough? A piece of burnt toast right from the toaster, a knot inside of my hair and a pinecones side.

What is smooth? Polished wood, a new book from the library and a brand new pile of snow that has landed perfectly.
