There are some places that aren’t to be entered. One place is The Nowhere Emporium.

Even though the beautiful decorations shone from the star lights,butterflies flew with joy and attractive firework signs to point out directions nobody dared to enter. On the top corners of the windows vines hung.

But still no one entered because the dark doors were too heavy to open. It was like the emporium wanted you to enter but no one did. That was peir.

Chapter 1

Through the door

Peir was peacefully walking through Bound street when he noticed a door creaking open.Starting to jog, he smelt vanilla cakes.He immediately started to slow down when he noticed something odd. For the first time,The Nowhere Emporium’s door was open.He looked at the sign and it said ‘ come and explore we are open’… Peir slowly opened the heavy door and stepped on the red mat inside.

When he stepped in he saw so many overwhelming colours and objects.When Peir looked at the floor he saw a mat that looked like a book. It said welcome. In the middle of the back wall was a desk with a cage of huntsman spiders eating cockroaches, crickets and flies.Behind the oak desk was a glass shelf with one leather book.

Peir walked over to the book and picked it up. On the front cover of the book was a title saying ‘ Book of Wonders’. He slowly opened it. He read the words they joined together beautifully. Peir thought it was like a story.

“Behind a blue door will stand-”Peir got cut off by a man saying,

“Why are you reading my book?”

Peir looked at the man while he was shaking his head in disapproval.
