As sneaky as a sniper wolf,

A red squirrel jumps from tree to tree

Waiting for disaster to strike as thunder roars.

Paws tough like velcro 

Digging acorn under trees

Making sure a fellow evergreen-climber doesn’t find them.

Rusty red fur blowing in the breeze

Getting caught up on trees

Nothing can stop this little guy

Not even a deep stare from a tigers sapphire eye.

It anxiously plays hide and seek with the vicious grey squirrel 

Although he hides for his life instead of being the seeker 

He hides under trees, bushes and litter as he shakes,

He hopes he has not made any mistakes.
