I watch through my pupils of dark treacle, for any signs of danger.

I am the deer hunter, cross country star, dressage loather,
I am the gold medal favourite, the ready racer, the ginger ninja,
I am ready to hunt and ready to dance at the ear splitting sound of the horn.

I am the tractor kicker, the mad muncher, high jumper,
I am the excited show pony, cheeky escaper, the head collar hater,
I act as cute as possible just to be everyone’s favourite.
