Dear Sir,   I am writing to inform you about the upcoming events on the local calendar. There are some very good things in the pipeline.

First, there will be a procession through the town, consisting of wide variety of contributions. Anyone involved must take good care to not to get in the way of the crowd or there will be an almighty argument. The mayor will judge the best baby competition. You should also walk down to Mr Chippy’s and eat some of the delicious food.

There will be a dance display in the town square. If you are watching, please stand back so you don’t get hurt. The market will be open all afternoon.

The firework display will be held in the prince’s park at six o’clock. We hope you all have a wonderful time.
