It was a lovely summer day on Troon Beach, me and my friend were walking through the waves, letting the sand tickle our toes when suddenly we noticed something floating in the water. It looked like a glass bottle, as it drifted closer my friend shouted ‘’Pick it up!’’ We took it over to a patch of sand, opened it and unravelled it. It read ‘’To whoever finds this message we have been kidnapped and can’t get off the island (Arran) Please send help.’’ me and my friend looked at each other scared and worried so we ran for help.
