Islands
On the Island of Emeralds
I caught the eye blighters,
Playing who can shine brightest in my eye
Winding the class teacher up.
On the Island of Waves
I noticed the wondrous waves
Being controlled by the magical moon
Whilst the stars shone peacefully on the ocean.
On the Island of Innocent
I saw a true train drivers fighting for their jobs
Or harmless heart blamed for something it didn’t do
soul-crushers
On the Island of Crimson Red
I touched cell bars dripping with blood
Like condensation on a bathroom window
And an african elephant’s blouse hiding sweat
From the equator’s heat.
On the Long Lost Island
I observed silent-stubborn-stalkers
thieving in the moonlight
A criminal lockers cell bar’s fighting a war form the escapers
Problem-savers
