The Island of Jupiter By Ralph SWW
On the island of Jupiter,
I watched a fierce pack of flesh-rippers
as they devoured their prey
under the dark, jagged cave roof.
On the island of Juno,
I witnessed luscious fruits
dangle helplessly
doing a depressed dance.
On the Island of Neptune,
I smelt cool saltwater
as it crashed against the pebbly beach.
On the island of Pluto,
I consumed sweet pomegranate
after devouring a crunchy crimson apple
under the purple sunset.
On the island of Venus,
I felt the golden sunshine
shine upon my relaxed face
as I lay in the a field full of flowers
On the island of Mars,
Trees stood like proud soldiers
protecting a fortress.
