The letter of application
Dear Captain Culpepper,
I am writing to you today to persuade you to allow me to be a colleague on your ship the Aurora. I hope you have an open vacancy for an accomplished, pleasant youngster such as myself. I will prove myself. I will prove myself as I have dreamt of this since I was a little lady and will do anything to see it thrive and be successful.
Firstly, I am a trained qualified weapon master and recently fulfilled my TFOTY (trainfighter of the Year award). This means any pesky pirates which come along who think they can take our ship, will be immediately proved wrong.
Secondly, I am a magnificent chef, making 5 star meals is one of my qualities; this will keep the crew from starving and with 3 immaculate meals a day you won’t ever go back . Also I will impress outsiders who will compliment you and forever want to come back.
Moreover, I am an expert, proficient engineer; correspondingly put to the test, I can fix a car engine in under 50 seconds. Also last November I won the NBC ( National boat competition) which contains several tasks such as steering a boat all the way to the Southern Hemisphere North. Tying the boat sail up and untying in under 120 seconds.
Thankyou for spending the time to read my letter of application. Please consider the time to think about me having a position on your exquisite ship the Aurora. If you please alow me to join your ship I will treat it with my life. May you grant my request or not, forever in my heart I will remember this opportunity.
Yours Sincerely,
Izzy
