Chapter 2

The weather had turned. Hail was bolting down onto the ship’s main engine. They wouldn’t last much longer in the sky. Unfortunately, Captain Cracker was skysick so driving wasn’t safe. So it was all up to Frankie. “An island!” Elliana screamed, pointing her finger at a green blob below. They had to land. 

Nervously, Frankie was circling the island hesitant to land until Elliana spotted something unusual on the island. It looked like some sort of ship. “Maybe it has something to do with Dr Bristal.” She announced with hope. Confidence injected into Frankie and he landed the ship as elegantly as a saw drifting through a river. 

Excited, the kids and Captain Cracker sprinted out of the ship and began a thorough search. Desperately digging, they started to give up hope. Hours past and still nothing. There was a variety of different food and clothes but nothing to do with Dr Bristal. 

The sun was setting, the moon was rising and birds were fleeing. “Maybe we should search the island instead.” Suggested the Captain. They all agreed and ventured off into the unknown. 

The mood of the island was getting creepier by the second. It was at that moment Elliana realised they weren’t alone. Someone or something was in the bushes right next to them…
