Chapter 3

AS the sun woke up, Captain Chase arranged different parties to do different jobs to help out. One group were on fire wood duty, which would prevent them freezing at night and the last group was on food hunting.   Penlope was left with some very important jobs, no wandering around and making sure everyone is doing their jobs.

Penelope heard the leaves in the trees rattling and what sounded to be scratching.  Suddenly there was a big thud. It was a big shiny- fured coated tiger. Penelope was about to run but then and there the tiger said “I’m not there to hurt you, I’m here to help you”.  Was he telling the truth?

The tiger gave a key to Penelope. It was ruby to be exact.  It was a deep red. The tiger whispered “ your going to need this”. And then poof. He was gone but there was this type of note and on it said crows. Crows are coming . You need to leave or else they will peck at your ship until there is no ship left. Penelope goes and gets captain Chase and shows him the letter. Captain said,” get all the people you can even if they’re not from our ship”. Penelope said”yes”. Penelope went searching for people. She went to look near some trees and no one could be seen there. Then she saw some caves and decided to go have a look in them. There were 3 people standing there. But it wasn’t enough . So she asked the people from the cave and they had answers. They said there were these secret caves in waterfalls and then she remembered that on her way in she saw a bunch of them. So she went there and got the people to help with setting up the ship for take off.  

She went back to the captain with the people and then the captain decided to tell everyone what was going on. Then people were doing jobs everywhere such as: blowing up the balloons on the sky ship, unlocking the rocks that hold the sky ship down and putting all the food on the ship. 

                           But it was too late.
