The Lost Lolly Stick
You are a labrador,
Drooling down its owner’s leg.
You are a melting ice cream,
Forming into a puddle.
You are an old picture in a museum,
Hanging on a wall,
Watching people go past.
You are a lonely strand of hair,
Like a lost toy missing in a car.
You are a moon full of cheese,
Like a yellow bouncy ball,
Spinning round the world.
You are a quite bird,
In its calm nest,
Eating worms.
You are a wild walrus jumping
Up and down through waves,
Frantically flopping.
You are a lost lolly stick,
Lying alone on its own,
Sobbing tears.
You are a patient pound in a carpet,
Waiting to be found,
Sadly.
You are a sunday morning,
Waiting to wake up,
In a cosy ball,
Snuggled in bed.
You are a crazy cat,
Puring furiously,
Hunting for mice.
You are a minnie mouse,
Lying in a bed,
Being stocked.
You are a maths problem,
Waiting to be finished,
Abandoned in a book.
You are a sandy beach,
Drowning in the sun,
Lying on a towel.
