My Golden Dragon
My Golden Dragon
Behold my golden dragon,
A shimmering being of destruction.
Its diamond necklace glimmers with a blinding glow.
It’s silver teeth dig into the lovely dinner waiting;
Waiting to be demolished.
As it approaches,
You freeze to the spot,
Nothing moving,
Not even your heart.
The bronze scales on it’s spiny back hide the secrets,
The secrets of the past.
The powerful wings flap and flap,
Creating winds that can blow away distant worlds.
This godly being cannot be conquered,
Be careful he might come for you…
Its deadly talons sink into human bodies,
You are an atom compared to my pet,
You are all atoms compared to this blood thirsty being,
And you always will be,
No matter if you are dead,
No matter if you are living he will always be hunting;
Hunting you down.
You are afraid,
You are scared,
You are being hunted,
You are running,
You are gone…
Your last few lines and opening line are fabulous .I love your different title to.
