Outside, the book had a grubby,battered old cover. Inside, the pages held a magical story and a trifle of an ending.

Outside, she looked like a dainty, little angel. But inside, she was rotten and spoiled and had a heart of stone.

Outside, the wind battled the trees. Inside, a girl was hidden under a thousand blankets watching Friends.

Outside, it looked like a regular, everyday wardrobe. Inside, an adventurous land laid hidden waiting for a little girl.

Outside, she looked bold and intimidating with her wings and horns. But inside her heart, she was kind and merry and had a playful soul.
