Aqua the Land Dragon

Aqua the Land Dragon

Aqua stops,

Waiting for a mouse to pop out,

It’s coral blue eyes stares,

Into your eyes sensing fear,

Which will make your heart pump,

It’s metallic skin shimmers,

As it slumps through rock canyon,

Stalking its prey,

Her jaws slowly opens,

As you walk closer and closer,

Until it jumps up at you ,

Her teeth are like sharp knives,

Cutting through wood,

Trying to get to the other side,

It’s tongue is like tape,

Swinging from branch to branch,

Sweeping squirrels and owls,

Her shiny scales are mirrors reflecting your face,

As they clash together,

Click clack ,click clack,

Her spine is shark fins,

Pointing towards the sky,

As it slithers through leaves,

It’s claws are as black as coal

Burning in fire,

Turning into ashes year by year,

Then you blink,

You open your eyes,

And see nothing but a speck of a scales,

Shimmering in a patch of soil.
