The Dragon

The Dragon

The dragon’s skin is nails like blunt knives scratching on a dusty black board.

His blood-coated talons ready to grab any innocent creature that gets in his way.

The fiery dragon’s wings are broad and mighty as he soars through the midnight sky.

His tongue drips with putrid venom as he hisses and spits at his victims.

The wretched beast’s scales are bumpy, jagged and unpleasantly gruesome.

His jaws are like daggers as he chews on his disgusting dinner.

The dragon’s eyes are laser beams shooting out of his misshapen head.

His bony spine is sharp and spikey like the edge of a crocodile’s tooth.

His curling claws are piercing like a biter winters day.

The manky menace’s blood-stained teeth are as sharp as chipped glass for chomping bruised bones.

  1. Some great ideas (sharp as chipped glass) – can you think of how to avoid each idea beginning in the same way?
