The MagnetDragon

The Magnet Dragon

The Magnet Dragon is a rare type of dragon and is closely related to The Metallic Dragon.

Appearance

Are you able to notice a Magnet Dragon if one was right in front of you?

In fact, they are similar to the large majority of dragons. Like most dragons, they have a long tail, sharp metallic scales and magnificent eyesight. Typically, they are a shimmering grey colour which reflects the sunlight off its iron body. However, a few have been spotted as a glistening white colour. This allows them to sneak around in the fog and hide in icy landscapes unnoticed. Baby Magnet Dragons and The Magnet Dragons both have silver grey eyes. Furthermore, they have magnets placed across their body. The main feature of the Magnet Dragon is its magnetic abilities which makes it able to attract and push most metallic objects with ease. Additionally, it is unable to use its wings as the weight of its body is too heavy to be in the sky. Fortunately, it has quick movements on the ground.

Habitat

Nobody has seen a Magnet Dragon during the summer months. Some believe that they hide deep under the surface in the iron mines, as the sun will heat up their magnets making them unusable. However, if you wish to see a Magnet Dragon, if you go up to the abandoned iron mines and set out a few pieces of scrap metal, there is a high chance that it will appear. The Magnet Dragon lives in a cave or somewhere hidden when training.

Diet

Many people are terrified of Magnet Dragons as they believe that they eat children. However, this is not true, Magnet Dragons only eat scrap metal or raw iron as its nutritious for any dragon related to steel or iron. The Magnet Dragon has also never attacked a human without provocation. Baby Magnet Dragons eat smaller steel supplies such as wrenches and screws instead of large engines and empty fire extinguishers.

Behaviour

The Magnet Dragon is known for its peacefulness and calmness. However, it becomes increasingly more aggravated the longer you look at it, as it doesn’t enjoy being stared at. The Magnet Dragon also hates being the main centre of attention as it is quite a shy type of dragon.

Reproduction

The Magnet Dragon reproduces its gene by laying eggs every 2 years deep inside the iron mines. The eggs are made of solid silver and takes 9-11 months to hatch open. Baby Magnet Dragons have small magnets like the normal Magnet Dragons, but their magnetic abilities are much weaker than their older version. The babies train their entire childhood practising their magnet skills until mastered.
