Lost objects
On Monday, I noticed a loud, rare woodpecker pecking on a monumental oak tree as big as a giant.
On Tuesday, I found a mottled-brown buzzard’s feather carelessly left behind,resting
calmly on the olive-green grass.
On Wednesday, I walked to Mulfra Quoit and saw the biggest, angriest adder peering curiously at me from a crack in a dark cave.
On Thursday, I touched the smallest, chunkiest mushroom standing proudly with its giant family of other mushrooms.
On Friday, I heard the wild, strong wind dancing and howling in the baby blue sky.
On Saturday, I tasted the tallest ,smelliest wild garlic and it tasted as good as the richest garlic bread.
On Sunday, I dreamed of the prettiest flower calmly blowing in the breeze like a dancer dancing to a song.
