My summer break By Grace
On Monday, I found a discarded bit of rubbish left out on the roadside it was sitting there waiting in the lukewarm sun.
On Tuesday, I walked to Rivington taking in the scenery as I went on with my journey. There was a cold breeze in the air as for the grey clouds in the sky.
On Wednesday, I saw the mucky canal that traveled throughout the town. It bent and curved underneath many bridges.
On Thursday, I touched an old memorial to think about all the people who fought in the war for us and our country in the great wars.
On Friday, I tasted the fresh delicious ice cream from Fredrick’s in the warm summer sun while i watched as the cars zoomed past me.
On Saturday, I heard the chirping of a robin in the trees above me as i took a stroll in a park with the grey clouds in the sky.
On Sunday, I dreamed of a forest full of trees, wild flowers and plants of all sorts. As i walked through it the trees blocked the sun from view so a green coloured light surrounded me.
