Closer To Summer
It doesn’t have to be the freezing-cold ocean water from the seaside of Mablethorpe,
The claw-sharp spikes revealing itself on the chocolate fur of a hedgehog,
The marshmallow-white petals of a daisy,
or the bright sun shooting down to earth.
It could be, seasonal, fluffy lamb’s sitting on the lush-green grass,
The summer-like flower’s ready to bloom open,
The cobbled road stacked with smooth pebbles
or a star levitating in the sky glaring at a planet.
Notice the rosy-pink sunset up above, Isn’t it glamorous?
I love your Poems they are incredible great job keep it up!👍
