The Willow tree’s roots were like long thick strips of rope.

Its branches were as long as a giraffe’s neck that touched the ground.

The leaves were as thin as paper though pale green and transparent.

The trunk was as wide as a table at a school.

Its buds were as fuzzy as a woolly hat’s  pom-pom.

The knots were like it was burnt by fire.
